USO Gulf Coast is proud to serve our local service men and women! It is our mission to strengthen America's military service members by keeping them connected to family, home, and country throughout their service to the nation. Each month USO Gulf Coast receives requests for donations to support military units hosting various functions or parties. We look forward to supporting your community event, whether it's a birthday cake for a service branch party, water/snacks for the unit 5k fun run, crafts for Month of the Military Child, Spring Fair, or deployment and homecoming! Typically, assistance requests are made for soda, raffle prizes, USO information/table, items for kids, etc. Due to the allotted budget and the number of requests we receive each month, we cannot attend or support every event, but we try to support their activities in other ways.
All donation requests must be picked up, but there are some occasions when we may be able to deliver the items. Homecomings and Deployments take first priority regarding event support. To request donations to support your event, please complete the form below at least ONE MONTH PRIOR (30 days) to the event. (We ask for at least a month prior/30 days' notice because we have to set the upcoming month's budget and allocation based on all requests received. This is especially important during the summer and holiday season.) Please note that if your unit is making a request with less than 30 days notice, your request will be reviewed; however, it lessens the likeliness that we can provide services. Requests made the week of the event are monitored as time allows, but please be mindful that current events are being worked on in the pipeline, so an immediate response may not be received. USO Gulf Coast will notify the point of contact listed if we can support the request.
